Gaming magazine Gamepro is reporting on both its website, and in the February copy of the magazine that Microsoft's Crackdown will ship with invites to the Halo 3 beta.

In the mag, an advertisement for Crackdown has the following message:

"Includes invitation to Halo 3 multiplayer beta. Limited time offer, look for specially marked boxes."

Of course, it's a US mag, so whether this will see the light of day over here is not clear, but it will certainly help sales of Microsoft's new title.
