New Fallout 3 Downloadable Content Announced
Bethesda today confirmed what we've suspected for a while now, that they are indeed working on more downloadable content for Fallout 3, and not just the Point Look(out) DLC we've all been expecting. They've also got Mothership Zeta ready to land on what's left of the White House lawn.
Point Lookout features a massive new swampland area for the Lone Wanderer to explore, along with the requisite new quests and content. Point Lookout will be available in late June at the standard Fallout 3 DLC price of 800 Microsoft Points.
Mothership Zeta sees the Wanderer abducted, and probably probed, by some pissed off aliens. Are they perhaps looking for their crashed comrade and his stolen weaponry which is discoverable within the main game of Fallout 3? And are you tough enough to survive this close encounter. Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release in late July for 800 MS Points.
Bethesda also announced Xbox 360 and PC retail disk versions of previous and upcoming Fallout 3 DLC, along with a Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition.
Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage and will be available on May 26.
Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout and will be available in August.
Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will include the original game plus all five add-ons, and will be available in October at £39.99 for Xbox 360, and £29.99 for PC.
