Keiji Inafune to quit Capcom
Keiji Inafune and Capcom are to part ways at the end of the month after a 23 year relationship that has seen plenty of ups and downs, particularly recently.
According to his blog (as translated by Kotaku) he is unhappy at having "nowhere higher to go." This from the same man who said the Japanese games industry was finished.
"I'm leaving Capcom with the intention of starting my life over," he added. So where now for the man who created Mega Man, and more recently the likes of Dead Rising and Lost Planet? How about a good old fashioned defection to the west?
