Xbox 360 Skin Impressions
Customising your Xbox was a key feature when the 360 was originally shown to the world by Microsoft, with the faceplate being easily snapped off and replaced with more colourful ones. Though this was a nice idea it never really took off as they were expensive to buy, and with no side plates they just didn’t look right.
Skinning consoles has been around for a while now and http://www.skinflips.co.uk recently sent us one of their examples to try out. The Skin in question was a custom Britxbox skin. It looks extremely nice and is of very good quality, with the image looking very good as well even though the Britxbox logo we sent to them was not of the best or biggest quality.

Applying the skin was easy to do, with simple instructions on how to apply, and even remove the skin if you need to. While applying the skin it is easily moved around to get it in the right position as long as you don’t press down on it; even if you do it does peel off fairly easily. When moving the skin about it does not leave any residue either, and air bubbles underneath the skin were not apparent as long as you press down well once it is in the correct position. The only tricky part is getting it to sit right where the fan vents are, but with a little patients it does look good.
It looks great, and the ability to order any design you wish for you Xbox is a nice touch allowing people as much customisation as they want. Designs are available for the newer 360 model as well as the old, and there are also plenty of choices for laptops, phones and other consoles too.

Overall the skin is a quality product and is easily as good as others that are available on the market today. If you are looking into getting a skin for your console or other equipment, be it customised or generic, then skinflips would be a great place to start.
Keep a look out on the site in the next few days as well to see how you could win your very own custom Britxbox.co.uk skin!
